Thermo problem starting?

Thermo problem starting?
Yesterday, Reno 99 deg. In traffic, temp gauge slightly over middle. Got home (one mile uphill), in garage, idle for 30-45 sec., shut off, turn on to check gauge--now at first line past middle. No after run fan. Thermostat, coolant sensor, or both?

i just went thru the same thing with my 02. unless you have low coolant, its almost certainly the..
thermostat. the 40v V8's have this problem often. hopefully you have a warranty, cause to replace it, its almost the same labor as doing a timing belt, cause thats were its located.
