Default Those who've done piggie pipes or down pipes...was cost/benefit worth it?

considering new downpipes, have chip, cat back and custom intercooler (will post on that later), and to top it off I was thinking piggies or Miltech down pipes. I want more power, less spool time, and heat reduction (if it does anything), however either option is pricy, as I will pay someone to do the labor, I don't have the time or inclination to do so myslef. Will do stage 3 in a few more years, not now.

Thoughts appreciated, Q-PIG.

Default I'd say it depends on how far you want to go with the car in terms of power.

If you're definitely going stage III then d/p's are essential imho. Bigger diameter, better airflow... Plus I've known people who get strange noises and rattling out of their gutted piggies. If stage II is the goal, then I wouldn't waste the money on d/p's. Btw, miltek d/p's and catback sound amazing at stage II and III...

Same for the hp19 used in the 2.7t and that is for the stage 3 tip upgrade.

Default Piggies are a great bang for the buck. You should be fine with them up to and maybe

even including stage 3 depending on your other mods.

So more details in the custom IC??
