I just got mine tinted too and has similar effect, though it's not an issue for me and the price for tinting was cheap to do all the windows on my Avant.
they use a heat gun on the curved windows to get the film to fit the shape so you might try and see if the heat gun will solve that issue too.

they do not need to be tinting. Also mine does not have the 'white stip' in question. I would look for a professional tint shop.

If it did, I'd consider getting the hairdryer to it. The company that did it said that after a few months it normally disappears as the air/water in the gap evaporates. Maybe on cars that spend all day out in the sun, but mine lives in the garage. Even on days when it's 95 degrees, it's a cooler 75 in my garage.

heat gun and hair dryer are very different, heat gun flows much less air volume at much slower speed and can be set much hotter.. mine will go up to like 1150*F
