can any one tell me aside from faster shifts, do you get more control of the gears like say if i was slowing moving in traffic could i have the car hold first gear at like 5k rpm. i guess do i get to use first, seem are cars think first gear is an ugly chick it all ways uses second.

Tip chip only affects speed/crispness of shifts. Use manual mode for more gear control

With Tip Chip you still have to recode transmission to hold 1st gear

I also had the ECU chip. The TIP chip would hold a gear more in situations like going up a hill where it used to have to down shift for power. I also found the shifts to be smoother and more seamless. I highly recommended it..
