BD are you saying I can use tip recode 00032 for my 2003?

Would that work for my '00 if I wired my car for a wheel with buttons? (or paddles ; )

Default Not sure, worked for some, did not work for others...

...but I cannot recall if those for which it did not work were allroad owners. No harm in trying it out. You can always revert back to the stock setting, no harm, no foul.

Default No, but I am assuming that you are bypassing the control module and...

...tapping into the tip wires at the shifter like I did for my paddle-shift install for the 2001 2.7T.

If you did a complete install including the control module then maybe.

I thought there was an '02 specific code that was 010032 or something simlar?

Default Exactly. His post down the page pisses me off.

He complains about the super "heavy" steering on his S6. Hell...I REMOVED the f-ing relay because I found the steering to be too LIGHT. Not only that, but he also complains about how the ride is too firm. And now he's complaining about the trans. Give me a break...I think he should go back to f-ing BMW.

hmmm...my A6 3.0 shifts well for a tip I think. I guess they made the S6 tip lazy.
