Not sure, worked for some, did not work for others...
...but I cannot recall if those for which it did not work were allroad owners. No harm in trying it out. You can always revert back to the stock setting, no harm, no foul.

No, but I am assuming that you are bypassing the control module and...
...tapping into the tip wires at the shifter like I did for my paddle-shift install for the 2001 2.7T.
If you did a complete install including the control module then maybe.

Exactly. His post down the page pisses me off.
He complains about the super "heavy" steering on his S6. Hell...I REMOVED the f-ing relay because I found the steering to be too LIGHT. Not only that, but he also complains about how the ride is too firm. And now he's complaining about the trans. Give me a break...I think he should go back to f-ing BMW.
