Tires

No real complaints except their affinity for nails in the road. Fairly quiet and grippy although I haven't used them at the track or anything. I am always amazed at how hard I can throw this bad boy into a turn and not lose grip. They do well in rain, seems oblivious to wet roads. Don't know about snow, but I don't think they would be very good.
They'll last longer than the Pirellis that come standard on some 4.2s, but I have now sworn off Pirellis as multiple sets I have had have worn unevenly while other brands have not.
I like the ContiSports but will probably get Pilot Sports when these are gone (another 15k, I estimate).

that tires are the crux of handling issues (from motorcycle days, when slip and breakaway were two distinct issues!), so I will probably go Bridgestone or Michelin when they need replacing. I have no winter issues to worry about though (except rain). For now, I'm quite happy with the Conti's.
When will the replacements be? I don't know yet as there's not enough treadwear to guess.
One Thing: my car felt like it was riding on marshmallows (no pitch, dive, or body roll, but HUGE amounts of yaw movement) until I [finally] checked the air pressure. It was at about 32 lbs., and now adjusted much closer to 40 lbs. the yawing symptoms have almost disappeared. Fascinating. If I may, I still feel that the Sport package should have better (firmer, more controlled) handling, but I definitely went from disgruntled to oh-so-happy. The 4.2 is now everything I'd hoped for. I still sense a bit of float, but the car does weigh about 4100 lbs (without me!). If there were no, or less, float, it would be 100 points.

Anyone have experience with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S? How do they compare to other all season tires?
