They are directional and were only switched front to back.

They don't look cupped. The wear pattern was a little uneven (more wear on outside of wheel).

I hope they rotated F to R and not L to R.

Default Well, since those also need to be changed...

(given I am almost 85k on original shocks and springs) probably to Koni's, that's not a big concern right now either. ; )

I reminded them and believe they were rotated only front to back.

Default Re: Done. Don't think that is it. Think it is the wear pattern.

I agree with John. I have had this experience on more than one occassion (one would think I'd learn) and even on motorcycles. If you let the tires remain unchanged when they are finally rotated the wear pattern is too far gone and makes things really bad. Not to say you shouldn;t check the other suggestions but be prepared for this outcome.

Default Something about Cincinnati roads...

Had same problem with my Conti's on my '01. Tried three sets before satified. First ones wore out at 14k. Had similar issues with P6's.

Need new tires on wife's E500 wagon after 18k (and doesn't drive like I do). Benz mechanic tells me Mich's are the only ones that get decent wear.

OEM's tires suck!
