Default Tonight's Mystery Question: Can you identify this hose?

I need some help in identifying a hose I've uncovered as part of the timing belt effort. This hose is at the front of the engine on the passenger side.

The Problem: I'm suspicious of its condition because it is totally caked in oil, but can not find a rip in the hose while it's attached. I also can't figure out how it would have become covered with oil. The car runs very well and throws no codes.

I'm a little hesitant to remove it as it is not a simple hose; it has two connectors up at the front (Point A), and runs under the Intake Manifold and connects to the Spider valve at the back of the engine (follow the red line). I'd guess with my luck, nobody in North America stocks one if I rip it. I can not determine the source of the oil.

Researching Bentley, I suspect this hose has something to do with the Fuel Tank breather system (EVAP). The hose connects to a line with two green check values.

Thoughts? Words of wisdom? Replace or roll the dice?

Default Looks like the F-hose, although that is limited to pre-2001 or 2001.5 6-speeds (I think).

I know my car has one and I thought the same thing. Lots of crud caked up on there made me sure it was a leak. It seems to be a weak point with these cars. I removed it, cleaned it up, and it was fine. Are you sure the hose runs all the way back to the spider? One leg does go to the check valve attached to the breather hose running under the intake. If you break that, you'll have a fun time removing the intake manifold to replace it. The leg that runs back to the EVAP system connects via a plastic reducer fitting. That's what I broke when I removed mine. I ended up replacing it with a brass reducer I found at Home Depot.
