My front brakes started to squeak when the brakes are applied, regardless if the brakes are warmed up or not. This is so embarassing for a 40k+ car.
Talked to the dealer and they handed me a little AoA brochure saying that brake squeaks are normal.
What are my options?

Mine too, but only at like 3 mph slowing to a complete stop.
Still annoying. Non-stock brake pads will alleviate this problem, or so I've been told.

really heat the hell out of 'em...it will get rid of the glaze that has formed, and the squeaks will go away. I had the sqeaks with both the 4.2 and the S6...and this method cured it both times.

...the face of the piston. Usually this is most obnoxious when you're lightly braking at slower speeds, i.e. the last few feet before the stoplight, moving through the drive-up at McDonalds, etc.. There a paints, lubricants, adhesives, and so forth to fix this with varying degrees of effectiveness and longevity... even adjusting the mounting clips can help a little. Basically, there's nothing wrong with your brakes when they're doing this, it's just irritating to listen to. The best solution I've discovered: turn-up the radio. The problem goes away almost immediately, and you don't even have to get your hands dirty. : )
