Default Totally unsatisfying experience at the dealer..Picked teh car up..their explaination to both issues

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/37492/oil_leak.jpg"></center><p>make no sense to me..or I should say, not much sense.
Took the car in for:

- Steering shake and overall vibration felt when brakes are applied are higher speeds (50-75)

Their explaination: 2 of the 4 wheels were way off balance and thet was teh root cause.

- 2nd issue was oil leaking from the top of teh valve cover, from 1 of the 4 bolts that hold the valve cover down. Attached is teh pic of teh leak. Note how the couple of screws visible on top of valve cover are rusted, they also claimed that it is surface rust and that the screws do not need to be changed/swaped.

Their explaination: the valve cover screw was not torqued correctly, no other reason found for the leak.

Default so what do you think it is?.....if you don't like their explaination...bring the car to an indie and

see what they say.....their explaination is totally plausible.....I had an oil leak and had the head cover gaskets replaced....trust me that's a nice money maker for the tech.....so if there was something like that wrong I'm sure they would have done it......but you seem to know more then they do.....at least that's how your post comes off...

Default well if you don't trust them....don't bring your car there...either find another dealer in the area

or go to an indie...your car is CPO?
