Touch Up Paint & Langka "Blob" remover....
I just want to add to an already fabulous AW library with my 2 cents.
I finally got my Langka yesterday. It came in a white bottle and the liquid itself smells like paint thinner. The smells gave me a lot of doubt in putting that liquid on my car. But i went ahead anyway.
This is what I did:
1. I washed my car with dawn dish cleaner to make sure that there is no other residue other than my paint and my clear coat.
2. I cleaned the surrounding area of the chipped paint with mequiars body paint and clear coat scrub /cleaner.
3. I used toothpick to apply the touch up paint on the chipped paint.
4. I waited about 30 minutes
5. I applied the factory clear coat finish on the touch up paint.
6. I waited 1 hour till it dries.
7. I put enough amount of Langka on a cotton towel wrapped around the plastci applicator. I rub the touch up paint for 20 seconds. You can see how the blob turning white after the 3rd or 4th scrub and then the blob started to reside until it blend.
One thing that I noticed that You have to wipe the excess of Langka liquid pretty fast otherwise it will haze your paint. That is the sign of how strong this thing is. Few tricks to work this stuff:
1. Make sure you put generous amount of touch up paint on the chipped area to create the blob. If not, Langka will take everything off too because there is no blob to take off.
2. Wipe the excess of Langka ASAP!!!
Hope this will help.
