Default Tracking down brake squeal

Did the fronts about 3 months ago, and now front right is squealing at ~1/2 pedal, but not with more pressure or less. Other than re-applying the stick pad-backing stuff on the outboard pad, any other common sources to check?

Thanks!

What pads and rotors did you install? Too aggressive for street?

Re-do the bedding in process, I'll bet it will go away.

Default I had similar problems.

I did new Brembo rotors and Mintex red pads on the front in the spring. I had squealing start about two weeks later, so I took them off and put on anti squeal backing goop. No change. No mater what I did, the squeak was there. It was like this for months, and I was getting really tired of it.

I had about 10% left on my rears, so I bit the bullet and replaced the front and rear with oem pads and rotors. Squeak is gone.

Honestly, I can't tell any difference between the braking quality. I don't track and I'm not looking for a brake that is for looks only, so I'm staying oem.

Pads = PBR/Axxis Metal Master, rotors = ECS slotted (tall hat)

No, but I wonder if it's the turn signal fluid...

Default I have PBR ceramic pads (OEM rotors) on the S4...

And they squeal like a ****! The noise goes away when I get them really hot, but when they cool down, it's back to noise as usual. I'm going to get some anti-squeal stuff, and I REALLY hope that works.
I really like the way they stop, but I hate the way they sound. Although I like slowing/stopping next to smokers with their windows down.

Default Any luck fixing these??

Have you had any luck fixing the squeal? I have reapplied the anti-squeal compund and it's still there. Autopartswarehouse.com offers no sort of replacement guarantee.
