Default I'm speechless...Matt was a very active member of the KC Chapter...a huge Audi community loss

He and I didn't always see eye-to-eye but I always respected his enthusiasm for the Brand, DEs, and the Club.

RIP Matthew Ammon

Default Amen. We had lots of fun caravaning to DE's together...

Perhaps it's because of my age (45,) but it seems I've lost a lot of friends and acquaintances "before their time" the past few years.

In trying to see the silver lining of life's events, the best I've come up with for myself is to understand that we have an unknown amount of time on earth. These moments help me to gain perspective on what's important in my life. I won't list them as we each have to determine that for ourselves...mine seem to evolve the older and more seasoned I get.

I heard an interesting quote a few years ago that I like to paraphrase:
"90% of the things we worry about never happen, and the other 10% we can't control."

So go, be safe and enjoy your day and life, Jim

Default A part of me says that with a community this large, we'll see tragic losses,

but the shock and sadness is never any less because of it.
