Does anyone know what the trailer towing capacity will be for the allroad? What kind of trailer receiver will be used, and how will it fit in with the real underskirt?
My salesman says that there are neat receivers in Germany, but can give me no details.

If you want to work out what's available in Europe, go to the German Audi site and run their configurator and do lots of cutting and pasting into a web translator, alta-vista has a good one.

It may take a while but you eventually work out what is available. The other possability would be the UK audi site, though I'm not sure if their configurator or specs contain the allroad yet.<p>Dion

There is a very slick new Online Buying Guide on the Audi UK web site (www.audi.co.uk) which allows you to configure your Audi and includes the Allroad. Looking at the pricing it would seem that the Removeable towing factory option is similar if not the same as the standard A6 offering. As towing capacity is dependent upon the way in which the tow bar is mounted and the power of the vehicle I would expect the towing spec for the Allroad to be little different to the normal A6 Avant.

A few weeks ago I posted the UK part number for the dealer fit version of this so it would be worth checking the archives and seeing if a US dealer can order the same part.
