Default Trans recode 00032 or Tip Chip

Now that my lease and dealer warranty are up I'm want to see what more I can get out of my 00 A6 4.2.

I just had the tranny recoded to 00032 and it unleashed something missing from my audi, off the line performance and sportier shifts. Will I gain any benifit from the Tip Chip over the 00032 recode?

Default I have the 00032 recode on my car. And it's a huge improvement...

from what I understand the tip chip improves it even more.

The recode changes shift points (RPM), but the chip shortens shift speed. I'm thinking about one.

Default The tip chip seems to make a bigger difference in the 00-01 models,

but from 02 on Audi sped up the time between shiifts so the tip chip shift speed change isnt as dramatic for 02-04 as it is on the 00-01. But it helps a little and every leetle beet is a welcome improvement. I dont know why they build in so much delay between input and execution in the 4.2's but thats Audi for ya..
