Nope. And as the post below indicates, you will be dissuaded from servicing the transmission. I think, and the maker of it, ZF thinks, you should do a service (not a flush) every 50k miles.

Pull pan, drain, clean, replace filter, fill (per complex procedure). Figure $200-250. dealers ask much more.

or DIY, but read up!

If the fluid has never been changed, it's way past due according to the manufacture...or it doesn't need to be changed yet according to the company that bought it and stuffed it into your car. Since neither will warranty it if it fails now, I'd probably err on the side of caution and change the fluid and filter.

I'd also check the oil (at a minimum) in all three diffs.

It helps if you have access to a lift.

Hard to do on the garage floor.

Not impossible, just hard.

Make sure you are dead level if you are using jack stands.

Get the correct fluid and also one of those little jug pumps you guys sell helps.

Pick up a few new pan bolts. You will probably ruin a few.

Read the DIY stuff on the forum, very helpful. Good luck.

yeah I don't have lift to do that with would the drive up car stands work for that. because I think that would make it pretty level for doing that stuff.

BTDT, I actually drove my A6 up on 4 ramps. Ain't Quattro wonderful!

Wear protective glasses so that when you tip the transmission pan all of that oil in there doesn't get in your eyes.

There will be a good bit left after you drain the pan. Tip it away from you into your drain pan.

Also read the forums for instructions on how to make sure you are full of new juice.

Good luck!
