hey guys, not sure if i'll get any useful answers out of AW anymore, since some of the knolegeble people seem to be leaving but anyways, something has been bugging me for a while and i'm not sure if its normal or my car is weird...

when in tip mode, and say i'm going up hill in 2nd gear, with about 50% throttle, the revs climb up to about 3k rpm, then drop to about 2k as if i let off the throttle or the tranny has shifted into 3rd, but it stays in second. then the revs start climbing again and this time go past 3k rpm all the way to redline... this happens in 3rd gear as well, i havent tried it in others yet... This only happens when i give it partial throttle, when at full throttle it doesn't do that, or at least its not noticible, maybe it does hang at 3k for a second or so...

this happens with or without the 00032 recode, same thing happens in 00002 code... according to the previous owner the tranny was rebuilt at about 60k, and the car is about 75k now, so what could it be? not getting any codes in vag com... does this happen to anyone else or is it just my car? i was thinking about trying out the VAST tip chip and maybe that will fix the problem, i wasn't sure if its something to do with coding or maybe its something mechanical...
