Yea why would the sensor work ok in tip and not normal drive range if it was super dirty. Really no point in pulling the pan

Ok, my problem is not a slipping transmission. In my case regular acceleration in 'D' gives me a hard kick when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and then throws it into 'safe' mode. I noticed that the hard kick happens when it shifts at low rpm (below 2000 rpm). When I accelerate more aggressively there is no kick and the tranny works fine. The other thing is when I stop, the downshift is a little delayed from 2nd to 1st and there is a light kick with it. VCDS gives me a code that says something with incorrect gear ratio. Any Ideas? I'll check if the solenoids open as they should with VCDS.
