Any comments on the fit and quality of the trunk liners sold under the name Weather Tech and also by Herrington. I am also thinking about the front mats to use during "mud season" in the Northeast. Any other supplier recommendations?

I have McNeill (WeatherTech) plastic trunk liners in both my A4 and my wife's 850T Volvo. Fit is perfect in both cases. Quality fine. Nice and sturdy. After five years of hard use--hauling garden supplies, firewood, etc--the Volvo's liner is still good.

I have the WeatherTech truck mat in my A6 and it has been great for containing my wet equipment after snowboarding. I general use a towel to mop and dry it after it has been wet. I have the Audi winter mats front and rear and had them in my last Audi year round. I don't think they are as aggressive as the WeatherTech floor mats. Clair Parts Express can set you up.

in my A4 and they didn't work well at all! The lip on the sides (to hold in water) did not run all the way up the sides (where the mat goes up the firerwall), so I always was cleaning up water off the carpeting...very messy! I now use the Audi mats in my A6 and they seem to work much better.

I have the trunk mat as well as the front and rear mats from WeatherTech for my A6. The trunk mat is a custom fit and works well. But the front and rear mats are not. The rear mats are especially bad. The front mats are just so so.
