Default Trunk open button on door sill.

I need just the button, not the whole switch. Any ideas where I can find one?

I lost mine too (as well as the "interior movement alarm" switch next to it).

I could never find either one of these buttons, only the entire switch for each (for around $50 - $60 each).

I hope you have better luck! Also, if you do find just the buttons somewhere, please let me know!

Yeah I was lucky enough to see it "stick out" and saved the button part.

To fix it I shortened the spring so that the button would be almost flush with the switch part. Then I put a small blob of silicone one either end of the spring and pushed it into the switch then the button on top of that. Once the silicone dries if stops the button from falling out and it still works like a charm. My "alarm" one went just the other day so it will be getting the same surgery.

Figured I'd mention it if someone does have the broken switch part.

When I was looking even the salvage ones were around $50. Crazy!

Cheers

Hey all, I finally managed to find these switches. I have a complete trunk release switch/housing/button and a interior monitoring switch/housing-no button.

I mixed up the switches though, which one has the brown switch and which one has the black switch?

If anybody needs one let me know.
