TSB# AWA-08-04 - Engine Coolant Temp Sensor question...

Just about to take in my 2002 Audi A6 2.7t (~111,000 miles) in for the engine coolant temp sensor to be replaced and I just noticed this TSB while searching for some info on the coil recall.

Does anyone know if this might apply to my car? I'm not the first owner so if there was a warranty extension would it even apply to me? Does anyone know how far out it was extended, I mean there might be a good chance the age/miles on the car even passes this extension but if not that's about ~$160 or so I save for having this replaced. I don't always trust the stealership when I ask them to check on any recalls or TSBs on my car so does anyone have any experience with this or info on just what it extended out to and maybe VINs that are covered? Thanks!!
