I'm still trying to figure everything out with the car. I have no manual but there has been decent info here and other places.
But I'm puzzled at this module mounted under the dash. It has DB-9, RJ47, RJ11 and a few other connectors across the front, with a LED that flashes green and sometimes red.
Anyone have any hint for me???

The red and green flashing lights are odd and make me think that it could be radar detector or laser jammer.
The "phone jack" connectors could be either a phone kit or a jack like my Passport 8500 has.
Any residue or markings on the outside where an antenna might have been? What about any extra LED's in or around the dashboard?
Weird one... either way it looks like a good spot to smash your knee/ankle on when driving!

I'm thinking it could be an old handsfree kit too. I've been searching google and put in "audi & rj45" and came up with handsfree install howto's. The 2 leads do look like they could be antenna leads. So as I get into fixing things I'll pull it out and see what happens.
I got the car for cheap, so now I get to play![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

By this time next year, we'll see values under $10,000! (I had an offer of $9K for a trade in on my car, but that was basically the dealer telling me that they wanted nothing to do with my car.)
