Here's the update folks:

1. The first service rep was a bit slow to go but did get the Audi Engineers to come out to the car, which was sitting at the dealership for almost a week.....the next week! Also, he did authorize a rental reinbursement. After the Tuesday look over, I called the rep for the next 3 days....nothing. On the theird, I "0" out of his voicemail & got the second rep.

2. The second customer service rep was outstanding. I told her that I was in the middle of equity loan shopping & wanted zero credit card transactions....she CALLED THE RENTAL PLACE & PUT IT ON THE AUDI Corp. CARD! Very cool & I was jazzed from that point forward, until...

3. Another rep tells me that Audi is liable & will buy my car back. I wanted my A6.....it took me awhile to find it. They are giving me full retail book value for my car, ehich is several thousand more than I paid for it.

MY PROBLEM: I need another A6 2.8 Q and don't want to drop more than $15K
