Default Update on sudden inner tire wear. RF Camber and toe are out of spec. Printout inside

It turns out the camber and toe were both out of spec on only the right front side. Since the camber is not adjustable, I suspect a control arm may be slightly bent (I'll have to ask my wife if she bumped a curb as I know I didn't). If replacing them doesn't fix it, you can slightly adjust the engine cradle.

Here's the results:

My mechanic recommended replacing the front control arms as a set of 8 a they come in a complete kit. The estimate is $1500. Is it OK to do just the right side to save some $$? I have some pretty heavy expenses this month and that's not in the budget. Thanks. Comments?

If your right side ones are worn, the lefts are right behind 'em...do all or nothing, IMO.

Default Ever had any front end work done? Looks like mine did when the control arm was in the wrong hole

Look where the lower control arm mounts to the subframe. It should be on the outer of the two holes on both sides.

The wear was only in the last 5K miles. Inside edge was down to the belts

I'll have to see if rights are worn or bent.

Default It's your suspension, new control arms probably won't fix it...

I did new shocks, springs, control arms and sway bars all at once and my car refuses to go into spec, apparently due to the lowered suspension.

I'd agree but the left is in spec. The sudden wear is only last 5K miles. Something happened.
