Default VAG Code is the 17114, SAE P-Code is the P0730. There are several possible causes...

* Low ATF.

* Clutch slipping or solenoid valves soiled or bad.

* Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) faulty.

* Sensor for transmission RPM faulty.

Well I think I can rule out the low ATF, no leaks at all. so it may be one of the others.

Thank you very much! Now I at least have an idea what to expect when I take it in. Any thoughts on how painful this will be?
