UUC's website is confusing: Which short shifter do I need in my 2001 A6...
There is a chart on UUC's website that indicates two shifter options for the 2001 A6. However, the link listed there reads:
"click here to determine which version for your S4"
Do the same rules of measuring the length of the stock shifter shaft apply to the A6 as well? Or, are these rules specific only to the S4?
Thanks in advance... I've searched the archives and found much on the UUC shifter install... but nothing about which shifter is required for the 2001 A6.

It's the same as the S4. Follow their measuring procedures
to determine the model and it's the same. I put one in my 2001 3 months ago and I should have done it 2 years ago...You'll love it
