Hi All,
I am on 100K on my plugs and due a change....
The NGK 6458 platinum plug is $14.00 and the NGK 6418 iridium plug is $6.50 --
does anyone have an real world data to suggest I really need the more expensive plug in my 2.7T motor ?
Thanks

I think I put the Iridium ones into my wifes 1.8T - they're working fine.
A few words of warning if this is the first time you've pulled those plugs - BE VERY CAREFUL. Ater you crack 'em loose, be gentle and reverse rotation often while backing them out. After 100K, the plugs are going to have a lot of 'goo' on the threads and you always risk stripping a hole.
