The control module:
- Take off the splash pan - belly pan - whatever pan
- Find the cables/wires that are connected to the fan, follow them to the module as its on the drivers side. Its a silver small box with the two cables running from it. Its an easy spot. If it failed, it's a $ 160-180 for a new one. Aux fans can be just as expensive.

ok so i hard wired the fan to the battery and it wouldnt work so i replaced it, before i put the new fan in i checked it by hard wiring it to the battery and it worked fine, but it still doesnt run when the engine gets hot, i have checked the cables and at no point is the fan getting power from the fan control module. i am not getting any power to the fan control module, does anyone know where the power comes from, and where is the relay that controls the fan?
a big thanks to any one that can help
