Hi All,

I have had this problem even since I bought my A6. I know this may not be the forum for A6, but I suspect it's not a A6 problem as I found a several similar complaints but without real solution.

I can feel slight vibration through steering and pedal when the RPM is at 1500 RPM. Thereafter, the vibration is gone. At around 3000 RPM, the lighter vibration is felt again. The car idle around 800 RPM without vibration.

Though the vibration is not significant, it's very annoying as I often have to cruise at the speed at exactly around 1500RPM. It makes the car felt like driving on rough road.

Anyone can enlighten me on the area I should be looking at?

I had a similar problem with a slight vibration during idle... many people said the first and least expensive thing to rule out would be the coil packs... also I hear v6's are naturally a little shaky.. search the forums and there are a lot of opinions.

Ok. Let me try the coil pack.

yeah...tried searched through the web, doesn't seem to have solid solution other than ruling out things one by one.

The thing that bothers me is my workshop says it's a normal thing from some engine vibration. I still cannot accept the fact.
