This past weekend I replaced the a/c compressor on my 2.7 (which, by the way, proved to be an incredible feat) and I noticed that the valve cover gaskets that I replaced no more than a year and a half ago are leaking. The cam tensioner seals seem to be fine, or at least not wet. The whole bottom end of the block, however, is soaked on both sides. When I took the car in to have the a/c system flushed and filled I was talking to the tech about the seals and he was telling me that Victor Reinz seals are absolute garbage on an Audi. Is there any validity to this? I always thought that VR was the OEM or at least equal in quality. Any opinions or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
