I would show you the damage if I have the wheels, but the good people at Missioin Car wash in S. Cali still have them since last Nov. They were kindly enough to promise to fix them but so far couldn't find anyone to fix them properly.
I notice my first damage a month after I installed the wheels, I confronted the manager and was told the car wash rail was design to not to damage the wheels so I took their word for it and assume it was my fault (strange because the damage is on the driver side where chance of hitting a curb is next to 0) then about two months later I got another damage, this time both front and rear driver side; after what happend last time I check my wheels before any car washes. I confronted the manager again and he said it's still impossible showing me that there is a protection strip at the rail entrance.
OK, now I am pissed. He said I needed a witness because this has never happend before and there's no reason to believe that it would happen to me. I know they damaged them, so I was determined to prove that. So for about a 3 month period I would wash my car there and have the person infront to check for the existing damage before entering the car wash. Surely enough, my patience had paid off. This time they again damaged the lips of both front and rear. Now I have witness they just have to swallow it up and promise to fix them so as new.
After three month they still have my rims; not able to fix them properly. They also promised to buy new ones for me if can't fix, but for "3 months!!!!!"
Advise to you; if you are cheap like me that have to save some money by going to car wash that goes through automated rail system to move your car, be careful and talk to their people before entering.

You KNOWINGLY went back to a car wash that previously damaged your car?
I only go to a touchless car wash. I don't want anything damaging my car.

When you have a 4000lb car pushing against the wheel and the rail the force will cause the famous rim rash. Best bet, find a car wash that also offers washing with a hose. Costs me an extra 3-4 bucks but worth the savings in aggravation.

twice...both while on road trips when there really wasn't another option, and both washes were at facilities that obviously wouldn't touch the wheels.
I scoped out a few places before using this wash in Scottsdale where the guides are like 3 inches away from the wheels (both inside and outside)...it's a push/pull action that gets the car through. I didn't like the touching part of the wash, but there was a solid 1/32" of bugs on all surfaces of the car to protect the paint. :-)
Just look for a place with a different guide system if you want to use a car wash.
