don't forget that the quattro will be contributing to higher drivetrain loss than say a rwd or fwd car. put the 4.2 v8 inside of another similarily heavy car, you'd probably gain a couple tenths of a second...

My 00 has run between 15.7 and 14.98. (no engine or tip chips)
The 15.7 pass was the first of the night. 3 passes later the ET had dropped to 15.2. It leveled out there for the rest of the evening. The next time I went back, I pulled the exhaust from the cats back and ran a 14.98. I think Kgnast has one of the quickest 4.2s on the the board and he is low 14s.
