Could be Ebony Pearl - There's an option sticker in the spare tire well...
I believe there's also one in the warranty book?? You can get the paint code from that. Ebony Pearl is LZ9W.

Well if.....
its black in 2001 I believe its either brilliant black or ebony pearl... my car is ebony pearl, there are some pictures in my pic poster....
When you see the car you think, its black... But if you put an ebony next to a brill black the difference is clear....
