What is the difference in 0-60 times (2002 A6 2.7T and 2001 S4)?

that be the determining factor in your decision. While the cars have the same engine they have a different personality.
If you need the room and want a "stealth" sports car (with cheaper insurance) that is probably significantly cheaper than the comparable s4, get the 2.7t.
Otherwise get the s4. Frankly, you can't go wrong with either IMHO.

We had a team lunch yesterday. I got to drive and three of my co-wokers came with with. 4 men, all over 6ft & near 200 lbs a piece, we all had enough leg room, and I still hit 60 by the bottom of the ramp.
I love the A6, perfect size speed, everything. Get the newer car.

4 in might not seem like much, but my 8 yr old daughter is just under 5 ft tall and she felt cramped in the back seat of an A4.
I have a co-worker who has an S4, and I can fit in the back, but, with the front passenger almost touching the dash, my knees touch the back of the front seat seat,, just barely.
So there is room, but I wouldn't want to spend more than 20 minutes back there,, it is cramped.
