I think the plastic lens is interchangeable, but the lens on the latter has less vertical lines than the early lights.

Why do people not drop in the post-face-lift A6 HIDs to the pre-face-lift A6s? Is the plug the major difference?

I ask because the right hybrid headlight I have together has the wider spaced vertical lines in the headlights, and all of my other lights are the closer spaced, which I do not like. I ordered a replacement lens from a post face-lift A6 with the wider spaced vertical lines and I want to be comforted in knowing I did not waste a whopping $33.00, heh.

The headlights are a different size; pre-facelift are smaller than the taller post-facelift headlights.

I did search, but searching for vertial lines on headlights is not easy to find, heh.

You sig is VERY full of info.

Also I know I have the lens with the wider spaced lines, and it fits perfect.

I'll make a new question asking what year is your car, and are the vertical lines on the headlights "__" far apart from another, or "__" far apart.

I want the wider spaced lens, since there is less writing on them, and they look cleaner.
