I believe the rear cd changer cable was deleted in '03 as well

Default Yes, BD is right. From when I was shopping for mine...
mainly some options got dropped or were additional cost in '03 when they were standard in '02. Part of the reason why I went with an '02. I believe they call that 'de-contenting' in car sales circles?

Nope, deleted in 03. The 02 have the cable, even though there is the changer in the SYM II ))
