Default What size are the rear rotors on a 2001 a6 2.7t
Is it 245mm x 10mm by any chance?

Nope, 256mm, 245 is for the 2.8 driveline.

Default Oh crap, but 256 x what?
I searched and searched and the only numbers i can get is 321mm frount and 256mm back. but whats the thickness

Also whats the best rotors for the cheapest price. Just finished a tranny job and my audi repair fund is very small.

I think they are all an unvented 10mm. (seems thin)

Default Mine are vented ; ) Guess you V6 guys are just SOL, unless you upgrade like A6Sport
If memory serves, I think mine are 269mm x 20mm, and those are vented. So 10mm sounds right for un-vented rear rotors IMO

I have little knowledge of the 4.2 specifics.

Default Pretty useless upgrade...C5 V8s get 256mm vented, the 269mm vented was...
standard size on the D2 A8.

A6 Sport Suspension Pkg ('02) has solid 255 rear rotors, FNR-G60 front calipers on 321 rotors.
