What size rotors on my '99 A6 Avant?

What size rotors on my '99 A6 Avant?
I'm about to order rotors. The Performancemotorcars.com website gives me the following choices:
Brake Disc
Front
w/ ATE Calipers
Rotor Size - 288x25mm
Brake Disc
Front
w/ ATE Calipers
Rotor Size - 312x25mm
Being new to me, I don't know what size rotors I need. It's a '99 A6 Avant. Which ones do I order?

The model guide shows 288mm. The most definite way is to pull the wheel and measure.
They will be 11.3" or 12.3" so it won't be hard to tell with a tape measure or ruler.
I'd guess they are the 11" rotors.

Probably 288mm
But as Dan mentioned, its best to measure and be absolutely certain.

Been beat to death. :-) There was a switch in late '99....
...you can measure and/or check the option codes. I would guess you have the 288mm rotor but check to make sure.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/209835.phtml">Click for rotor info.</a></li></ul>

Funny - I phoned the only guy who worked on my car...
and he didn't know there were two sizes. He came highly recommended by people in the Canadian forum. Makes me wonder if about his so-called Audi expertise.
