what spring rates are on H&R coilovers?

I'm curious where you got those numbers...as I was told by a few retailers that H&R doesn't publish values.
Also, the springs on my H&Rs (and all others I've seen) are progressive...how can they have a constant rate?

... progressive is typically used when ride and handling need to be balanced --- in favor of ride. This is not typically the case with sport packages.
Let's also make sure we are using terminology the same way. A linear rate spring has a rate expressed in X pounds *per inch of compression*. So if it is compressed 2 inches, it exerts a force of 800 lbs. Does that, by any chance, clear up your surprise?

...any idea what the difference is? I understand the rear springs are rated higher on account of the extra weight of the Avant rear. I'm guessing they're 450 is the 'normal' ones are 400.
