I installed the H&R's to stiffen the ride and after driving it...I don't think it worked as well as I'd hoped.

What do you suggest....

1. Keep the H&R Springs and get some Koni race shocks.
2. Get H&R Race springs and Koni Race shocks
3. Get Stasis or KW or H&R coilovers?

Obviously 3 is, by far, the most expensive but is it that much better than doing one of the other two options?

Also, pulled the 628 relay...what a difference!

Default Shocks...stiffer springs don't help float at all

Which brand? I don't know...several people here have said Koni sucks...wears out very fast...others? Definitely need shocks though...

Coilovers would cure it too...much more money...some have liked, some have not liked the results though.

Default Springs too strong for stock shocks...

you don't have too many choices. Eibachs not available for late build 01 on up. I am in exactly the same boat. I think Koni's are the only choice in shocks. Coilovers next stop.

Default You know - Coilovers vs. spring shock is not all that different $$

Eibach springs and shocks plus install was aboput $1500.

Coilover sintall is MUCH less expensive, as they bolt right in. No strut disassmbly.

I would look for a set of the Eibach shocks. They are Gas as opposed to Koni. I have Konis, and would probably do the OEM sport shocks before I did Koni

Default Anyone considered the S6 shocks? Certainly they're not floaty. Do they interchange?

Don't know if the rear of the wagons are the same.

True, are there better strut bars? Do we have a front strut brace?

Default I wonder what the S6 bars are like. Anyone volunteer to measure them?

Never seen a strut brace for an A6

Default generally you can't mix and match Avants and non-Avants

And all US S6s are Avants.

Could be different this time though.
