What is the trick to remove the small hose on the bottom of the Accordian hose?

What is the trick to remove the small hose on the bottom of the Accordian hose?
Anyone with a trick to get out the little hose that joins in the bottom of the accordian hose on the intake? I am doing O2 sensors today and would like to get that out of my way.
