Default Maybe...

it really depends on the shape/thickness of the spokes. The offset of the wheel only tells you the relationship between the centerline of the wheel and the mounting surface of the hub. There is nothing there that has any specs of the spokes.

That being said, stock wheels on the 2001 2.7T for the non-sport 16x7 ET45 offset, and sport BBS (late 2001) 17x7.5" ET43 offset. If the wheel you are considering is not deep dish or does not have spokes that curve inward toward the hub, they MIGHT work.

Default if anyone knows more about wheel offsets -- its BD. He's had like 15 sets in 3 years...and...

....he's still not done. He changes rims more often than most folks change their underwear.

Stay tuned....he's on another "wheel quest" as we speak. We can expect to see at least 10 more threads from him over the winter as he makes an attempt to make up his mind.

...until...then...we'll all sit at the edge of our office chairs...waiting for his next post.

Ha!!

Default Since you have HP2's............

wheels are harder to find that will clear, especially non-oem. That said, the further out the spoke it before it curves the more likely it will be to clear the caliper. Sometimes, off-set numbers can be mis-leading, we ordered in some wheels that had the correct off-set, but because of the curve of the spoke, they would not clear the caliper.
