Before you say check the archives.. ( I have and it just added to the confusion) I am looking at wheels and really like the dish look the bmws get however I am finding out that is not a audi friendly look.. I was at my local tire store and i asked can"t you just put a spacer on and they said Yea if you want to do an alignment every month and come see us once or twice a year to get wheel-bearings done.
Is this true or an over exaggeration? Im new to the car world from the lifted truck world so Spacers are not the best in that world any input would be awesome

this one looks sick but if spacers are had on the cars it would be bad news

to look, taste or smell like BMW. We are a different breed, although both are German. That "dish" look is nice, great on BMW & MB, but that's not audi. Find a great looking wheel that's appropriate and drive -

I think they look nice.
You're best to find a wheel style you like and make sure you've got the proper offset for the width of that rim.
I can't speak to exactly what works on the widebody, but ET30 on an 8 inch rim is flush on the narrow body A6.
I would try and stay away from spacers - just another complication factor to the suspension weaknesses already present in the C5.
The C5 body is smooth and flowing so try and find a style that complements the whole car design - something with similar elements.
Good Luck - and have fun with your Audi - I'm sure you'll find this forum to be a great help. I know i have.

If your looking to get a wider stance, or use wider tires, Ive seen many Audi's with it and it looks gooood. Specially if its lowered about an inch, but dont go with any higher than 19" wheels or shiny chrome. At least if you want to stay in the Audi club, JK, LOL
