Wheels just shy of clearing HP2 calipers... how much can i grind them before comprimising safety?

Don't forget that you will have even less clearance with new pads.

So, if you get them to fit now with worn pads, they will likely NOT fit with new pads, as the caliper will more further outward. There is nothing like being stuck after a brake job because your wheels no longer fit.

Personally, I wouldn't go grinding the caliper...
