I am trying to determine the truth about what size tires actually can/need to be mounted with 19" wheels. Does anyone know the original factory offset for the 5 spoke sport wheels? Everyone is telling me that with a 19 I will need to go to a 255/30/19. But in my opinion there is TONS of room in the wheel well to accomodate a slightly taller sidewall. At this point I don't plan on lowering it and even if I did there is still plenty of room. The overall difference between a 35 and 30 is about 1 inch total. I realize this will throw off the speedo but not drastically. Problem is that there is only 1 available tire in that size. Anyone who has experienced a similar situation please advise.
