Default If you treat 'em right, they'll treat you right.... I got 170K miles on my Saab turbo, and

it ran at least two more years after I sold the car to a friend.

Practice proper warm-up and cool-down and change the oil regularly and you should be fine!

Default What oil do you use? ..... Edit: missed part of the post.....

Synthetic oil since new, maybe never.

Dino oil at Audi's 10k intervals since new, probably pretty soon.....

Default I would recommend a turbo timer. Lots of the A4 1.8T/2.0T guys use them....

...do some research on this forum for what others have used.

Does that mean my 9/99 turbos w/65k are going to die soon? I've been looking for a reason to K04.

Default You have to go to the Audi event in Las Vegas. You are already signed up and the bill is in the mail

No is not an option.

Default Could be the next time you drive it, or could be never.

I'd say they have a 95% chance of lasting to 90K miles. Other crap will break first.
