i would never use the small scanners... yeah they pull up codes... big deal? autozone can do that. can this scaner log values from sensor banks? with out the data your relieing on the codes which are vauge to begin with

I don't think I've once said it's going to do EVERYTHING a VAG-COM can do, or a 5052. This is merely a low cost diagnostic tool for people who want something cheap and simple.

Please stop making more of this than I've ever claimed. Clearly, you want a high end unit, and thats what you should go buy. Leave the rest of us normal humans alone.

Um, neither does VAG-COM. Both can pull codes from all systems, read measuring blocks and check readiness.

4d4, I found a manual for this unit, if you want to review, you may be able to tell far more than I can about it, but i think 2.7 is a little hung up on this unit not being adequate for his needs.

Perhaps he's never going to be happy unless he pays $1000 for a fancy unit.

Anyway, he's clearly not interested in getting one of these, so why waste your time on him?
