now I can't find anything either way that gives data on color shift due to bulb aging. I sent in a technical request to Sylvania via e-mail asking them for some data. I will post whatever answer I get from them just FYI. I am curious what the OEM people say vs the re-sellers that simply want to charge more $ for the higher color temp bulbs.
Again, sorry to post something incorrect - I really do appreciate being corrected. That is what this forum is all about; geeting info out there and making sure it is the correct information! :-)

is blue. This was for Statistical Thermodynamics and involved the wavelength of light and how it reacts with the atmosphere, etc. Excellent point about how the sky would be yellow instead of blue. Blast from the past for me (damn, I hated that class...).

I am curious to see if the $50 eBay HID bulbs vs the $200+ Philips bulbs...
I would guess you pay what you get for and the cheap-o eBay bulbs would die real quick...

Think many people are confused about this issue. Xenon filled bulbs do not give you Xenon HID lights
