why dont fit 2.7T headlights a V8 4.2l??
I see on ebay a lot of headlights but the sellers say that headlights for an 2.7t not fit on V8 4.2l. Know anybody why? Where is the difference between the V8 4.2l and all the other ones?

Pre-facelift won't fit, but facelift 2.7ts can use the 4.2 headlights
The facelift happened in 2002. At that point all A6s, except for the Allroad, used the same headlights as the 4.2.

facelift 2.7Ts and 4.2 Headlights have different part numbers so...maybe not?
I'm not saying they won't fit but be careful since the part numbers are different for some reason.
I'm looking for a facelift V6 right side HID headlight and that is what I found out so far:
2002-04 V6 p/n 4B0 941 004 BM
1998-01 V8 p/n 4B0 941 004 D
2002-04 V8 p/n 4B0 941 004 K
