Default No, any articulation of the joint away from the line of axis is my definition of angle of...

... articulation. As they say, should be intuitivly obvious to the most uninitiated observer.

Default What's strange, I have yet to replace a boot on my A4, which is 2 years older...

and has 5k more miles.. *knocks on wood*

I'm pretty sure the bolt for the lower rear control arm is 18mm, not 16mm. YMMV.

Default I think he's right. I did some doughnuts last time and messed up my boot, maybe audi wants us to...

drive in a straight line as much as possible. I have seen the type of rubber they use and doesnt look to promissing. I try to lube it up when ever possible to keep it flexible and avoid cracks.

Great idea. I use CRC heavy duty silicone spray on my boots every time I see them!
